The Average Person

In the spirit of acknowledging existence as we know it, we need to abandon who or what we deem as "the average person", and the phrase altogether, because it is preventing us from looking after each other in an untold manner of aspects. However, as the pandemic rages on, healthcare is what immediately what comes to mind as most pertinent.

The notion that "the average person" is caucasian, heterosexual, neurotypical, abled, thin, does not have any underlying health conditions, and that they have male reproductive organs or genitalia is, in fact, false; and its occurred to me that establishing modern healthcare research, diagnosis and treatment on this false idea is, as consequence, amongst one of the greatest ongoing crimes against humanity. 

So what is healthcare, or rather who, is healthcare really for? Because it most definitely is not the average person.
